ANDROMEDA

Server Rules

The rules are subject to updates and revisions. All rules listed here are expected to be followed BOTH in the Discord community and in the Andromeda Minecraft Server.

1. Be Respectful of Other People.

Do not antagonize, harass, or witch-hunt other players as it does not promote a friendly environment. Hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia and bigotry will not be tolerated.

This includes fantasy racism. We understand that some might want to include controversial characters into the story, but stories about racism have a place in media to teach us against wrong, this server is not the place to enact roleplay racism (even as a joke).

2. Respect the Decisions of the Staff.

The Andromeda team tries its best to resolve all issues but it is not possible to please everyone. Please show respect and patience by listening to staff as they have the final say.

3. This is a 17+ Server.

If you are found to be under this age, you will be kicked.

4. No Advertising / No Spamming.

We support content creators here, please allow us to do so through our own methods. This keeps our members safe since not everybody has the best intentions when sending a link. Do not promote your server or advertise social media. (if you make Minecraft content or content on the server feel free to post it in #pics-n-vids)

5. No Explicit Content.

This is a 17+ SFW community. No NSFW or obscene content. This includes text, images, or links featuring nudity, hard violence, or other graphically disturbing content.

6. Follow Discord Terms of Service.

Illegal discussions and violations of Discord’s TOS will result in immediate action.

7. Do Not Post AI Generated Content.

Our community supports all artists, writers, and creatives. Please do not post content that was produced by AI in this server.

8. Do Not Perpetuate Drama.

We understand that people disagree, and that disputes may get out of hand in chat. If another player is causing drama related issues with you please let us know in a report ticket as to not disturb the friendly environment we aim to promote.

9. Invite Staff to Faction Discord Servers.

If you make a Discord server for your faction be sure to invite Doll and Cherry to that server.

10. Do Not Bypass Banned Words/Filters.

Andromeda has a list of blocked words and topics. This is to keep discussions safe and non-toxic for our community. Attempting to bypass these blocked words intentionally or as a joke will result in a warn.

11. Do Not Personally DM Anybody On the Development Team.

Make a ticket for general support, or report an issue on The Andromeda GitHub for bugs.

Andromeda Minecraft Rules

1. NO Cheating or Hacked Clients.

You will receive up to an INSTANT BAN with no chance to appeal. This includes, X-Ray, Duping, Auto-Clicker, Aim Bot, Fly Hacks, Free Cam, and using bugs or exploits to receive an unfair advantage.

THIS INCLUDES: using items/methods that are not explicitly considered hacking or exploiting but use loopholes that grant unfair advantages. If you discover one of these methods and think it was an unintended game feature let staff know in a ticket!

2. NO Random Killing.

Random killing refers to the act of attacking or eliminating another player without provocation or meaningful lore reason, especially when the victim is not engaged in combat or is clearly trying to avoid conflict.

3. Do Not Do the Following Without an Approved STORY TICKET.

  • Murder
  • Kidnapping
  • Theft
  • Griefing
  • War
  • Editing the established server lore

If you are unsure about what may be unapproved, make a ticket!

4. NO Metagaming.

Metagaming is the act of using knowledge you know out of character to influence your decisions in character. Discord messages and Game Chat are not canon on Andromeda! Only use information you gain in character. (It is okay to plan and create backstory/history)

5. NO Alt Accounts / Ban Evading.

You will be blacklisted and permanently banned.

6. NO Lag Inducing Activities, Such As:

  • XP / Mob Grinders
  • Big Redstone Machines / Autofarms (Ask staff for permission and details)
  • Excessively Giant Crop Farms
  • Excessive Mob Breeding
  • Ender Pearl stasis chambers

7. Do Not Use Figura Models That:

  • Have flashing or strobing light effects
  • Are bigger than what realistically calls for your origin / character
  • Plays loud or annoying noises
  • Replaces the vanilla model entirely (vehicles, full animal models, inanimate objects, etc.) without an approved ticket allowing your character to do so
  • Violate any of the Server Rules

8. Respect Roleplay!

  • DO NOT interrupt roleplay scenes if you are Out-of-Character (OOC).
  • Respect statuses, pay attention to who is actively in-character and respect their decision to be in-character or OOC.
  • DO NOT do things to break people out of character, such as making loud or funny sounds near in-character scenes.
  • If you want to spectate roleplay OOC, you must ask permission (Best to do it in a whisper message via /msg). Do not lurk people, that’s creepy!
  • Respect effort! Some people are veteran roleplayers and others are brand new. Please show patience to all.

9. Do Not Combat Log.

If you witness someone combat logging, make sure to report it in a ticket and provide a clip if possible.
